Why don't you have puppy food?Updated a year ago

If you look at Muenster's product line up, there's not a specific puppy formula. But that doesn't mean we're not a go-to product for breeders and puppy owners.

Muenster dog food is an "All Life Stages" dog food. This is a classification based on the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Dog Food Nutrient Profiles.  All Life Stages dog food is designed to meet the nutritional needs of dogs at every stage of their lives, from puppyhood to adulthood and into their senior years.  So with Muenster, you won't need to worry about when to switch your puppy to adult food. There's no switch.

Exceptions for Large or Giant Breed Puppies

The only exception to our All Life Stages is for large or giant breed puppies (more than 70 lbs as an adult). Because of their unique needs our Perfect Balance line is not recommended for large breed puppies. This food has higher ash content (indicative of higher levels of calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium). These minerals at high levels during the rapid growth stage of large breed dogs can lead to developmental orthopedic diseases such as hip dysplasia. You'll find this on the product detail page under nutritional info in a statement like this:
